Uninterruptible Power Supplies, commonly know as UPSes, are battery backup devices that provide clean, safe electrical power to computer and network equipment in the event of a power failure. UPSes also provide surge and spike protection, and many units offer Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) boost and trim, which normalizes the voltage delivered to your equipment in the event of minor modulations of line voltage.
What is RunTime, and how much do I need?
RunTime refers to the amount of time that the battery capacity of a UPS can deliver power to your protected equipment in the event of a power loss. For typical PC applications, 5 to 10 minutes is enough time to shut down the machine gracefully without losing any data. Runtime needs can vary enormously from one application to the next- so the first step is to determine what you are trying to protect, and what it’s role will be in a power outage.

How long will my shipping take?
We offer UPS shipping services to the whole US. Standard shipping times depend on location, as we ship out of our battery depot in New York state, so time to the northeast are typically 2-3 days, and may be as long as 6 days to the Pacific Northwest. If you require expedited shipping, we can also ship overnight UPS, at an additional fee. |
